I created the butterfly box templates based on the two types of butterflies found on the Stampin' Up! Beautiful Butterflies Die. Three of the butterflies match the large Butterfly Box and the fourth butterfly (the one with the scallop edged wing tips) matches the small butterfly box. Even if you don't have the Stampin' Up Beautiful Butterflies die, the butterfly boxes can be embellished in many different ways.
Unfortunately, I had great difficulty photographing these boxes (what worked well for one box, did not work well for the other) and therefore two details can not quite be seen. The groom box has three embossed lines running along either side of the buttons to emulate a real tuxedo shirt. The butterflies on the bride box are embossed with iridescent ice embossing powder giving them an elegant shimmer. The Bride box was stamped in Pink Pirouette with the lily from Fifth Avenue Floral. I then sponged around each lily with pink pirouette ink.
I wanted to show how these boxes would make a great place holder and guest favor all rolled in to one. The words "Bride" & "Groom" were printed out with "Monotype Corsiva" font and punched out with the small oval punch. They were then attached to a butterfly at the end of a crystal pick. The boxes are filled with white Jordan almonds.

These are just so cute! I needed an easy breezy favor idea for the bridal shower I'm co-hosting and I must admit, I'm thinking of CASE'ing these. Thanks for the great idea!
