This card was made for my Brother-in-lawÂ’s 5oth Birthday. We (okay I) didnÂ’t want to rub in the 50 so I decided to not even stamp 50th on the front, however, I did stamp 50 candles. I had to get it in there somewhere. I was a bit to work out how to get 50 of the candles to fit. He did start counting right away... LOL
For the background I rolled on the new Dazzle VersaMark ink which gives it a nice shimmer – you can’t see it in the picture though. I used the Clear Star Gelly Roll pen on the inside of the flame of each candle and on the Happy Birthday.
Thanks for looking!

Wow! What a beautiful and creative birthday card- love everything about this- esp the monochromatic color scheme. I love the Versamark Dazzle-I got mine a couple of weeks ago and am already hooked. It creates such a nice shimmery effect- especially on a CB'd background like the one in your card! Awesome- adding to faves- TFS!

This is a fabulous card! The way you alternated the color of the candles is wonderful! Loved the bit about your BIL counting the candles right away, too! TFS!
