This is a second card for the WT challenge, to use buttons. This may be felt, but it's definitely a button . The image was left on my desk from last week's WT, to use the same image stamped twice. It is actually two shades of green, but last week I went for using green and brown, and this has been on my desk all week. I added two purple eyelets to the felt button and tied some green swirly ribbon through. Sponged the edges of the Nestabilities Label with 2 shades of purple - Milled Lavender distress ink and Brilliance Lavender. I cut a square the same size as the card base from some BG Infuse, and then trimmed a square out from the centre. Distressed the inner edges and sponged with Peeled Paint. Inside the frame I sponged the card base with more Milled Lavender, and then stamped with a Hero Arts Fanciful Filament and the Peeled Paint, stamping it off to get two shades of green. Added some styled silver hardware, a sentiment from Flourishes and more purple eyelets to attach it.
Final touch took longer than the rest of the card together; last night I'd punched the little circles, thinking to use them in the corners of the frame. Today I decided to pop them up on dimensionals and add them down the side. Glossy Accents, set aside to dry - put something on top of them. Punch more circles, stick them onto the still sticky spoiled ones, more Glossy Accents, set aside in a different place to dry - and put something on top of them again. Repeat the whole procedure again. Now they are not just up on dimensionals but 3 layers of paper thick, + lots of Glossy Accents; so I had to tear them off and have one more going - this time going outside so that I couldn't possibly put something on top of them again!
With the sponging on the distressed edges, panel and background, I think this is up for the Flourishes Tuesday challenge, which was sponging.
