What a fun challenge - to make a card with buttons. I have hundreds of buttons that I have been collecting for years. These came from Mom's button box which my sister and I divided. And that was funny. The only fair way was to mix them all up and then divide them by weight. Mom had gobs of buttons too.
This card looks pretty plain, but it's for DH and he likes them that way, and always need encouragement. The denim is from his old jeans. He pitched them in the garbage this weekend and I retrieved them. I think he should know better. :)
I had to really fight not using flower stamps as buttons just make the perfect center, and buttons and flowers are my two favorite things. I am going to really enjoy walking through the gallery.
I used Kraft paper and inked the edges with Ranger Vintage Photo. Stamps are Rubber Stampede and Wildlife Enterprises. tfl

What caught my eye was the stitches under the buttons. It added some interest and kind of anchored the buttons in place. It looks more planned out or "on purpose" rather than seeming like an afterthought like buttons sometimes do. Very nicely put together.
