Open the Doors - we are here...and by the looks of things these gorgeous HM's have already had too much of a good thing!!! I am so sorry Cindy...I would have been here earlier BUT I was waiting for Peggy to 'swing past' and pick me up - but it seemsd those little cupcakes of hers just had to be there early....then I had to bake the most 'DIVINE' Lemon Merangue Pie as it is the most ooey and gooey thing that I know!!! But oh so YUMBLY - as my DH says....and by the way - it has been a fulltime job keeping him away from Joan's Apple Pie - it is like a Magnet to him...Joan, please send me the recipe if you get a moment darling - thanks!!! LOL!
Now move back girls...I have quite a bit to get through the door....but first I have to explain to our lovely Hostess...exactly what has gone on with these critters, who by the way, have taken until now to settle down!!
The most gorgeous image was in a BRAK from our very own Dawn (aka flowergal36) pssst Dawn - maybe next week I will get a lift with you....I may have a better chance of getting there! LOL!! Okay, back to buiness - I have chalked this image and used my Scalloped Border Punch for the corners, sponged the edges and layered it on DP, scalloped border and torn DP.
The sentiment is cut from some FABULOUS DP which was sent to me by the lovely Darla Ryan - I stuck it on some CS and then cut it out, layering it on some flowers.....finally paper piercing was added around the egde!!!
So everyone, thanks for helping me in with my things and taking care of those sleeping 'beauties'...I do have to say though - watch the Lemon Merangue Pie - I have lost an acrylic nail....you maybe the one to find it - LOL!!!
Is now a good time to tell you that this card is also for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge....oops did I say that too loud - sorry MotherMark, but these things must be said....and I especially did the sponging for the Flourishes Challenge!!
Thank you for looking everyone....I love to read your comments!!!
EDIT: I do know it is 'Meringue' but am not changing it so that Cindy's comments make sense!! Just pretend it said with an accent! My excuse is that it is 1am...good night all!

Your card is so beautifully colored. The paper piercing highlights your main image so nicely. From all the activity that goes on I think this tea group could learn from your little mice and drink more chamomile tea!

Okay, never mind! We found it! Did you hear me girls, you can quit digging through the cupcake frosting, the fluffy white meranque (if that is mispelled its Linda's fault!) and the oozy, goozy cream filled donuts, we found it! We found Linda's acrylic nail, it was perched on top of a box of sugar lumps! Linda, here you go....does anyone have any heavy duty glue???? Or double sided tape will work at least to the end of the teaparty! Okay, issue resolved on to the card!
OMG! That is the perfect image! Perfect I tell ha! I love your soft chalk coloring and and wonderful piercing. This card rocks! These must be Maurice's protege's. They are enjoying Maurice's absense from the teaparty (lazy butts!) as he stormed out the door mumbling something about no respect. Which by the way, you might be feeling a little of having not been picked up! You know Peggy, she is an excitable one! Awfully anxious to get to the teaparty this week! Snort! After dessert, maybe we can talk car pool!
I am so happy you made it here with your Lemon Merangue (I don't think you spell that that way!) pie! Its ooey, gooey scrump-dilly-icious, like your card! Thanks for the link and no worries about combining challenges....you remember, no rules at the teaparty! Thats why we get in so much trouble!

Not chamomile tea, please!! Chamomile doesn't belong anywhere except the garden in my book. But the lemon meringue pie will make up for it, so that's good. I like the corner punch you've used, and those Primas, and the lovely blue, yellow and chocolate combination...
I wouldn't worry about spelling too much. I just sent Cindy a PM saying I was so busy I was chasing my tale trying to catch up with myself.
I'm just a bit worried about the steam coming out of the spout of the teapot - be careful your little mice don't burn themselves, or we'll be needing lavender oil as well as the chamomile tea.

LOL!!! Linda you are just too funny! I am laughing til my side hurts! LOVE this image! I wonder if a little mouse would tell Dawn how much I'd love an image or two of this one!?? LOL! Love your take on the mouse teapot and the fun story! I think I best not choose this week to come along... I'm always the one to find "something" in my food!!!

Hi Lovely Linda. It can't just be Linda, Lovely Linda just sounds too perfect. Awhhhhhhhhh these sweet mice definitely have good taste, chamomile is my favorite and what I bring each week (with honey of course). I would love some lemon meringue but I will be sure to eat carefull since there is a nail in there. Maybe it will be noticeable, what kind of polish? What a sweet card. I just love it.

LOL... I am never going to look at Lemon Meringue the same again..Eeks.. That is funny. I am so glad you got to use this image. It is perfect for this challenge. I added the mouse at the last minute as I reread Cindy's story. Love this. I will give you a ride. AND I can verify that you have an AMAZING accent. I have heard it IRL.. Goes with the amazing person behind it...Hugs.
