I LOVE to make Clean And Simple cards. Stop laughing! I can hear you, you know?LOL! I find them very quick, (this one took 17 minutes!), less expensive, and they take a bit more creativity. I mean, come on...4 pieces of paper, on this, INCLUDING the base...Okay, add in the butterfly. But, 2 of those pieces are the sentiment!LOL!
The background started out WHITE! The bottom was stamped in Old Olive, and then sponged in with Certainly Celery. The clouds and sun were also sponged in!
I sponged the color onto the Shapeabilities butterfly. Now, before the "BUZZER" sounds, let me tell you something...I used SIZZIX die cuts on my cards from the VERY beginning, so I consider Spellbinders shapes in that category-SIMPLE!

I'm not laughing... really. LOL! OK.. a little when I read your story. I love to see stampers show a variety of styles. This one is a beauty! Love the butterfly.
