I tried to apply the tissue the way other directions stated, but I found it was best to use a glue stick on the back of the tissue paper. Then I can smooth everything out before I heat it with the heat gun.
I also found it was better to stand the candle up and heat it that way, rathar than lay it on it's side. And back off from the candle a little. Take your time. Having the tissue glued to the surface helps with that.
One more thing....
I do NOT make one sheet of tissue to go all the way around the candle. I just stamp and emboss my image, then I cut around it and paste it to the candle before heating.

That totally helps. Thank you. I will try the glue thing! :) Do you use wax paper with it, too?
