For the final challenge for VSN - use a picture of a beautiful wedding cake.
I chose to be inspired by the simplicity of the colours and change the textures on my card. I've been wanting to make one of these gorgeous little flower pot pocket cards ever since it was done as a TLC challenge a few weeks back (see the details here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers)
For the rim of my flower pot, I inked the panel with Versamark, added some clear EP and then scored some lines through the EP before I heat embossed it. I saw this technique recently on a blog by a lady who makes these really cool leather look bags from cardstock, and this is how she does the leather look - I'm sorry I can't provide that lady with the credit because I stupidly forgot to take a note of her name and blog - if anyone has it, please add it to the comments below so everyone can know!!!!!!! Thanks bunches!!!.
My flowers are images stamped in Versamark with white EP added and heat embossed, punched out and added to a Scallop Circle that has been cut to resemble the petals of a flower.
Would love to know what you think.

Absolutely gorgeous! love the faux crocodile on the top. I recently used that on some ATC's. I had EP all over-hope yours was neater! Thanks for playing

I haven't heard of this new embossing technique yet. I would love to try it real soon. Thanks for sharing it. Your card is very beautiful and elegant. I'm adding it to my favorites.
