The What's Up Wednesday Challenge in the MFT Forum is to use buttons in a creative way. Be sure to go read Susan's "Interview with a Button" Tutorial for some great ideas.
I got this cute Cuddle Up Carter set for MFT about a month ago and this is the first chance I have had to ink it up. Isn't he cute!
The DP is from Basic Grey, love those little dinosaurs! Carter's PJ's are pieced and the slippers are cut out and popped up. He is colored with copics. I used the out of the box method and carefully cut out a portion of his blanket. I used SU punches for the sentiment and the little frog is cut out and popped up.
The edges are sponged with Tim Holtz Distressing Ink in Tea Dye. The buttons are tied with twine, and the buttons are from Basic Grey. The last touch was a little ribbon.
