I wanted to make another card for yesterday's sketch challenge, using a narrower upright panel. Since the base is black and the main layer is black I reckon it snuck in for WT216 while I was waiting for 217 to be posted .
The base is A2, black. Then there is more black, embossed with D'vine Swirl, matted onto some red paper. The image panel is still Embrace Life, stamped with Versafine Black onto watercolour paper. I embossed it with the Script folder and then coloured the flower with H2Os. The red strip is some paper from Clairefontaine's Papers of the World. For the scalloped edge, I sprayed some lace with gold spray, attached it down the side and layered some scalloped red paper underneath. Then I pierced a hole at the edge of the white panel where I wanted the gold cord to go round, threaded it through and tied a loose bow. The sentiment is Styled Silver with more gold spray paint, attached with black brads. I added some gold gems to each end of the red strip. Our anniversary is creeping up, and while I have a card on hand for it, this one might be the one I use.
