I loved the idea of the paper clip bookmark but thought it would be neat idea to incorporate it into a card. I created this card today which you could send for a birthday but then after the special day is over you could then detach the bookmark to use. To create the hole in the card to slide in the paper clip I used an SU horizontal slot punch.
The cute stamps used on my card/bookmark is from the new Scrapmagasinet set 104 Katter. I just adore this cute set and as you all know by now I am cat mad! I have used one of the cats from this set and also the little mouse which I stamped next to my MS Word generated sentiment. There are also another 4 cute cat stamps in this set which includes a fun kitty/puppy pile-up.
I stamped the image and then cut out using a round nestabilities die. Keeping this in the nestability I then masked the image and copic airbrushed the background to match the pink tone in my dp. The background is a little splattered but stuck with this first copy as I loved the effect. My image is then coloured with Prismacolor pencils with sansodor and paper stumps for blending. The kitty paper is from the DCWV Pet stack and the spotty paper is from DCWV Nana's Nursery Baby girl stack. I then added an Ivory twill paw print ribbon. To finish I added some buttons to co-ordinate with the text on the pet dp and also a little bead for my cats ball.
