WOW!!! This is a VERY recycled card trying a new to me technique. I was going through my scrap crafting stuff from YEARS ago and came across some old lace and scraps of material. I had bought some double sided fusing to try to use fabric I loved in my cards and today was the day to try as I needed one more Mother's Day Card (which I have to mail before 4:00 pm) I fused the material and cut my strip for the bg, then stamped the slip on my paper and again on my material; I cut out the bottom of the slip and fused it to the main image (kinda like paper piecing but I LOVE this mini print), I also fused a scrap to a thin piece of cardstock and then ran it through the nesties scallop and it worked like a charm. The stamp set is an oldy that I bought at a "garage sale last year, and the large 'froufy' flower finishes off the card with some more feminine flair.

Lovely print - it reminds me of the sort of dresses my mother used to make us when we were small. The lace trim and flower are great with the fabric too - what a great card.
