One of 6 cards I'm demoing at my "Embossing 101" class. I LOVE the impressed embossed tech. The background uses Gentler Times which BETTER be in the new catty! That set rocks!

Impressed Embossing: Not sure if that is even the legitmate name but that's what I gave it :-) Here's what you do:
Ink up a peice of CS with VM/Embossing ink. Sprinkly EP (whatever color you choose) over VM and heat set. Repeat: VM, EP, Heat; VM, EP, Heat. After heating the last time, press your desired stamp into the warm EP. You need to act rather quickly before it cools. REALLY easy and the ideas are endless.

Thanks for the good explaination, Mel. I am familiar with the technique, but have only done it once....I especially like how you have used deckle scissors on the outside edge of the embossed panel - did you do it before or after you did the embossing? (Hope you don't mind all the questions - I'm really impressed with your sample!)
