Created for smARTworks "yellow challenge", I knew I wanted to use Daisy Trio by Dina Kowal but had trouble coming up with a layout. SCS weekly scetches to the rescue! This is an old one but works well for the large image. I kept my card clean and simple to focus on the daisy image.
The daisy trio is 3 stamps, stamped in order lightest color (Canary) to darkest (Yellow Ochre), and a 4th center stamp. For the 2nd shade I used the Yellow Ochre but stamped off the inking a bit to produce the lighter shade I needed. I love the shaded look produced using 3 stamps. I mounted it on green cs and popped it up using mounting tape. The verse is stamped with Winter Green pigment ink and embossed with Trancendence.

Nice, nice, nice! Your layout and the stripes showcase that image beautifully, and could there be a better sentiment for Mother's Day? Thanks for playing with us!

That is the perfect layout for that flower!! And, I've never thought of using yellow for the flower but it looks terrific!! I'm sure any mother would love this card. I've added this link to my blog, hope that is okay. Thanks for playing with us!!

Very nice! Yellow is not usually my first choice, but after seeing what everyone came up with on this challenge, I am going to have to try it soon! ;0)
