Hi! This cards was made for today's Technique Lovers Challenge: Embossed Wax Paper Resist.
I wanted to make a sea scene today using this technique. I embossed wax paper with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and then placed it between two pieces of Glossy with the shiney sides in and pressed with an iron. Next, I sponged on More Mustard and Close to Cocoa. I stamped the area with my Sand pail and shovel and cut it out. That's the SAND! I stamped the pail and shovel again and colored with Copics. It was paper pieced on to the scene. I sponged in the sun and sky with Classic Inks.
The crab is a Martha Stewart punch, sponged HEAVILY. I added black and white dots. The sand dollar is a Cuttlebug die cut. It was sponged with Blush Blossom.
