1. Life is good! Today I am doing three of my favorite things. First, I am participating in the sketch challenge, one of my favorites, its been a long time! Secondly, I made a card with one of my favorite sets which is almost a direct case of my own personal favorite card, one I made for DawnL when she lost two llamas. Thirdly, I am making a card to brighten the spirits of a very frightened young girl who is having some very scary medical issues right now. Another thing I have not done in a long time!
2. This was a super fun sketch. (Thanks Roxie!) I loved all of the layers. My card ended up being a 5 X 7 because I was bound and determined to use my new nesties! And I went a little overboard on the size of the panels AGAIN! Its always a huge shock when putting together the pieces of your card only to realize they cover up the base, completely! Snort! That could be a Mothermark thing!
3. I started a thread in the Need a Lift forum to request cards for Kimberly. If you would like to send her a card I have posted more details about what she is going through here.

Your sky is gorgeous and that bird is so cheerful on it Cindy. I'm sure it will be a comfort for the young girls who will see that she is on your mind.

Wow, this is gorgeous and I love how the ribbon slips behind that one panel. That ribbon is particularly great.

Hey, li'l buddy! We're next to one 'nother in the gallery today, and my card is so happy to be placed right beside your beautiful card! I love this bird from Touch of Nature, and I LOVE how you did the bird face in the small circle with your ribbon. As always, your clouds and sky are fantabulous. That's a cool Nestie shape, too....not sure I've seen that one. Kimberly will appreciate being the recipient of this beauty, I'm sure!
