This card is for this weeks Sketch Challenge and also the House Mouse#35 Challenge.....I just love this layout and it made it so easy to make this card with this cute little Happy Hooper that was part of a RAK from Grace (aka Scrappigramma2) These cute little rabbits just make you want to hug them!!
I have made this card for a little girl who is very special to our family and has undergone 3 Open Heart surgeries in the past 3 years and has just had surgery on her lungs - I wanted it to be waiting in her room when she gets home....she is only 3 1/2 years old!
Who wouldn't love these happy Hoppers - they have been chalked with SU Pastels/Chalks and a SU blender pen. The edges of all images have been inked and then paper pierced - I used to use a ruler for measuring paper piercing BUT have not looked back since getting my SU MAT PAK - it makes it so easy and takes the guess work out of it - I am a convert to this tool!! I am stabbing anything that doesn't move...I have even offered to do the kids sandwiches for school - they look at me like I am mad and say 'eah - right Mum!!' with a eye roll thrown in for good measure!
The sentiment is stamped onto a circle and layered into a scalloped circle with a little bit of chalking added....it goes a softer look! Finally I have added pink brads and gingham ribbon!!
Thank you for looking and for your comments, you are always so encouraing!
