Have you ever wondered what would happen if you were driving and had cupcakes stacked up high on a cake platter and you slamed on the brakes? Well, you would get a crash not unlike the crash on this card.
I made another card for Cindy's teaparty found here: http://mothermark.blogspot.com/searc...uesday%20Cards
I also wanted to do another for the gesso challenge yesterday. (TLC217)
I printed my own words for the background this is what is says:
Tea parties, are formal affairs. They use china cups that are very fragile. They eat fancy little sandwiches, or delicate little desserts like truffles. They wear fancy clothing with white gloves and fancy hatsÂ… NOTÂ… well the ones at CindyÂ’s house in Colorado arenÂ’t that way. Not because she doesnÂ’t have good intentions, it is just that things get a little wild. There was a party with bees that got out of control and stung the guests. There was a party with bunnies that multiplied before our eyes. There was a party with paparazzi. There was a party with a gorilla. There was a party with a food fight. You never know what will happen at CindyÂ’s parties, but there is one thing that the regular tea partiers can count on is the perfect hostess who makes sure that everyone has a fun time. That is why week after week we all continue to show up at CindyÂ’s parties. Thank you Cindy for the hospitality.
If you have ever attended one of Cindy's teaparties won't you take the time to thank her?

Your comment makes me laugh. In reading everyone's comments today I'm hearing pretty much the same thing. This must not be an easy challenge because it seems most everyone was unhappy with their result. Actually I thought this card was pretty.

I have a little something for Ms. Mothermark too. I know it must take alot of time for her to plan this all out on top of all the Dirty Girl stuff plus the design team stuff. She's a sweetie and so are you. I love this technique. I was not going to do it but I just may relent and get some gesso. It is expensive. Great job... Hugs.

You forgort he poker party!! How lovely to have a card with all those memories of the teaparty on it. Great gesso technique card, and you got the little pink cup on this one.
Never mind driving with cupcakes, it's driving with wedding cakes in the car that makes me nervous. At least the last wedding cake I made WAS cupcakes, and they are way easier to transport, LOL.
