This card is for this weeks Twisted Sister Challenge where we were to make a masculine card with blue, brown and gold, use one punch and have some doodling.....
I used my SU Travel Post set which my DH purchased for me for my b'day - I was thrilled to get it as I had seen it in the first catalogue and had mentioned that SU retired stamps too soon for me - I LOVE the vintage ones, although I am finding my tastle and style have become very eclectic along the way, as I have been introduced to different things....I love to try anything new!!
I chalked just about everything you can see - even did some doodling with the chalks over the background DP, which resembles a ledger book, cut out the images and popped them up on 3D foam tape to add dimension...I have used gold gel pen over the images lightly to highlight, but it is hard to get it so show up in photos....I was happy with the finished product and then realised i hadn't use a punch - so rather than lie...I added a ticket for the journey!
So what do you think - I really enjoyed getting back to a first love of cardmaking for me - vintage....so much fun and so eclectic....lovely!!!
Thank you for looking and your comments - they are so encouraging!!!

Linda, I love this vintage card and your chalking, it is really good. I like the sponging, the doodling and that ticket worked perfectly as an after thought.

Linda this is superb! You have such a way with doing the Vintage look! The sentiment is so true. Beautiful piece. But that is nothing new for you. Thanks for doing the challenge and keeping them up beat with your glorious creations each week.
