Don't you just love when you can combine 2 challenges into one card? Here's my take on this week's sketch (SC224) and Sharon's Stamp Simply #83 challenge - Thread It Through (ssnotime)! I threaded my ribbon through 2 holes made with my double circle punch to form a 'faux knot'. I saw this done on SCS somewhere but can't find the tutuorial anywhere in the resource section or forums. If you know the name of the technique or who I should credit, please let me know.
Hope you like what I came up with and thanks so much for taking a peek!

I LOVE this, Pat!! And yes, I love when you can combine challenges to make one card. It hardly ever works out for me, but you've done a BRILLIANT job here. Love that rich color scheme, and the ribbon treatment is fantastic!!

Lol! That sentiment is enlightening! I love birds, and your image drew me right away, but the wonderful combination of texture and color is great! Love this card! (Out west, we call this 'knot' the 'wedding knot', as it is primarily used on wedding invits. Looks great here too!) tfs

This is just a very cute image. Reminds me of when I first got a bird. He learned how to get out and I would come home and find him sitting on top of the cage looking surprised. Love your darling card. TFS :0)
