There is a story behind this card. The image is a RAK given to me by an online friend. It was stamped on a white cs, almost A5 in size. I made a sky scene and some sponging and then set it aside as I was still trying to figure out what paper/s to use. I pulled it out from my coloured images awhile ago and found out that there was a stain of pinkish ink on the sky area (aarrgghh!)
SO, to make the story short, instead of wasting this gorgeous image, I then cut it out in a way the stained area won't show...and this is what I came up with.
And another thing, originally I faux-stitched the edges (since I don't have a sewing machine), but then ended up hand-stitching it after I had sewn the button onto the flower. lol! The red flower and the flower on the girl's hat actually have a sparkle on them but the camera wasn't able to catch it. I posted another one on my blog (http://myscrapbooksplace.blogspot.com) using a flash and the sparkly area showed.
So there's the story behind this card...I hope I was able to entertain you in a way.
Have a nice day! Thanks for looking!
