BTW, the card is held together by the ribbon. No adhesive there. Also the floral texturz plate is also on the back of the pot.
I would want to make another and this time something that would work for my May hostess club party. I wanted to use my new SU Simple Flower and SU Sweetest Stem Embosslits Dies and new Texturz Background 1 plates. I was able to use all 3 embossing toys to make a card with so much texture, yet easy to create. I also used the pink Kaiser self adhes. pearls that my DD Jeani gave all of us at our last party. I will add a sentiment later.
P.S. Be sure to keep your card less than 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" to fit inside an A2 envelope.
The diamond pattern is the original 3 1/2" x 9" piece with the top 2" EB. The floral pattern was EB on a 3 1/2" x 7" piece of CS and then run thru the Big Shot and Texturz plate. I then scored and glued to the bottom section of the pot and the back of the pot. Hope that makes sense.

Now isn't this sweet as a button?! And clever! At first I thought it was all Cuttlebugged, but thanks to your narrative, I could see many different products could be used. It's nice that you also used just two colors.
I *love* all the texture you created with this card! And the flowers and leaves complement each other so well. I wondered why the pearls looked familiar!
How did you use two different textures on the flowerpot since it's one piece of cardstock?

Oh wow, this is gorgeous, this is such a neat card idea. I love the flower pot that it makes and how it looks. TFS

Really neat card, Nancy! I love the textured flower pot and Embosslits flowers and leaves! The different textures adds a lot of interest and the pearl centers are so pretty!

Wow, Nancy! This one is just super duper cute, too! I just love it! All that embossing gives it such a great look. I have flower pots that are embossed like this, but they're not so pretty white -- more like covered with garden dirt and moss. These little flower pot cards are great any time of the year for any occassion!
