Ok, I hope it doesn't lock me out this time. I don't really want to type this all over. When I saw the sketch come over last night, I knew it would help me out with the butterflies that I just finished. I was trying to come up with an idea for my class I want to teach using the bleaching technique at our local scrapbook store in town. Some of the ladies are just beginners and want to learn more than the basics of stamping. Anyhow, I thought this layout was going to be easy for me....WRONG!
I stamped 2 butterflies onto black bazzill c/s with versamark. I covered them both with black emboss powder and used a heat gun to set. I used a q-tip for the bleaching out the butterfly lines and added color by using a colored marker. Cut both out. I decided to use the Top Note die cut. I made them last month at Stamp Camp. I used the black pen to go over the stitching lines on the Top Note and sponged around the areas with black ink. I wanted to be a little different with the base of the card, so I decided to use the cm corner rounder on them. I used the cb textitle on to the dp and I also added Faith's white dots around the edges of the card. The butterflies are adhered with foam tape. I was having a little trouble with the ribbon but I hope you still like the way I have it. The Top Note and butterflies are adhered with pop dots. I'm not to sure about the sentiment in the corner, but it was my husband's idea to put it there. Let me know if it doesnt belong here on my card. Thanks Roxy for this great challenge and have a wonderful day. Thanks for viewing my card. Comments are welcome.
What do you think?
I think I better get at least a hour sleep before the boys wake up.

It's funny because I pulled out a top note shape and was going to use it. I think this is very pretty Bonnie...love how the butterflies look and the colors.
