Here's my card for this week's Clean and Simple Challenge found here. Forums at Splitcoaststampers I love masculine monochromatic cards, so I decided to make my father-in-law's Father's Day a little early. I also thought this sketch challenge made for a clean and simple layout if I kept the layers to a minimum. Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I started with a Not Quite Navy cardbase and then added paper from SU's Patterns Pack. The edge of the dp layer at the top was zig zagged prior to gluing it down; I also added the large, silver eyelets to the bottom layer of dp prior to gluing it down too.
Then I just stamped the image with Not Quite Navy ink onto Whisper White cs, added the FATHER sentiment (PaperTrey Ink), layered it on Not Quite Navy cs and adhered it to the card Dimensionals.
I managed to pop this card out this morning in about 10 minutes! I love when that happens. TFL - Regina
