I combined today's technique challenge - stamping with metal and last weeks sketch challenge. I used metal from a V-8 can to stamp my mailbox image on. Stamped in stazon jet black and colour with sharpie markers. I used my stylus on the back side of the image - I rubbed on the mailbox doors to give the image a 3D look. Matted with riding hood red and a rectangle scalloped nestability mat. Stamped the brocade blue and riding hood red panels with sanded backgrounder in black. Ran the panels through the CB with branches folder. Tied on the gingham ribbon and string. I used a small square metal punched embellishment for my stamp - Stamped HB in stazon jet black, matted with red and then stitched edges. Rubbed on silver metallic rub-on around edges. Attached the black brads. Popped up both panels.

WoW! The popped up mailbox doors are the coolest. Great metal card especially the idea of adding color with sharpies. The ribbon and twine are perfectly themed for a row of country mailboxes. TFS
