This card is for the Flourishes Swing into Spring Challenge, which requires paper piecing on your card. It is also for the FTTC which is to use your favourite set....This is my new favourite that I have just received.....and I used a Flourishes sentiment, from my Flourishes favourite. I have paper pieced both the flowers and the leaves along with the pot. I then chalked the flowers in 3 different shades and then added some Kindy Glitz to give the flowers some definition.
I 3Ded the flowers and then inserted the image into a 'window card' and paper pierced around the edge, added the eyelet border along the edge of the card, using Flourishes paper. Crushed velvet ribbon was added under the image and I used purple metalic brads which were part of a RAK from Cats Cards, finally I added a sentiment from Flourishes!
Thank you for looking and for your encouraging comments!

Oh Linda! This is just *rich*! I always love greens as it resembles new life to me, but the textures and paper piercing just drew me into this card. The sentiment is beautiful! Thanks for sharing sis.

Wow what a beauty! My favorite color green, and I love velvet. I also love all the texture, that pot is really cool. Not sure how you did it but I like it all a lot! TFS
