Some of my biggest fans are the little girls at my Church. I have had one card class with them and they are begging for the next one. One of them, Lilly is having a birthday this week, and I thought of her while making this card. When it comes to brown cardstock of any shade, I am always running short. I use too much I guess. I didn't have very much brown that would match close to cocoa. I wanted to make another pocket flower pot card, so I shrunk it and made it smaller and attached it to a larger card. The flowers were punched using my EK success flower punch. I decorated the flowers with metal flowers that were a rak from Krischir. She made them out of a soda can. I also added little rhinestones and green leaves.
For the flower pot, I used itty bitty backgrounds. I stamped flourishes on the base card. I put a little blue ribbon on the flower pot. I used chalk on the base of the card. I also used a corner rounder punch on the base of the card and the little pocket insert.

This is very cute. The little girl will love this. I also run into the problem with browns, always out.

MariLynn, I like how you used the metal flowers! The blue and yellow look pretty together. I'm sure the girl from your Church will love it!
