Cindy shared an artsy fartsy teapot with us and she even used acryllics on her card. No acryllics here, except chocolate pudding brown. I do however have water color paint. On the gold panel of my card, I sponged white craft ink and I also sponged Adriondack(Cabin Fever) ink.
For my fruit I used water color paint, prisma colored pencils and chalk. I then cut them out and glued them to the gold panel. I also painted a green strip along the bottom of the gold panel. I added a red ribbon and white dots to finish this card.
Now I know that there is no banana on my card or on the teapot so I'll explain why it is in the title of my card. A couple of weeks ago, Cindy commented on artists who could paint with a banana, she was sure that if she used a banana to paint with she would just end up with a painted banana. In keeping with that challenge, I did paint part of my card using the top of the banana. If you look really closely you will see that the top is green. I used it to paint the green to the right of the pear. I wasn't sure from looking at the teapot what is was, so I think it is some exotic fruit that Cindy had flown in for the party that looks green but really tastes like dark chocolate.

I knew you'd bring some lovely fruit along, MariLynn - and beautifully painted it is, too.
Somewhere I have some little paper pears, but they are AWOL. This is a card I am only going to be inspired by, I couldn't aspire to recreate it as you and Cindy did.

Well, that explains it! Now I know why that big ole ugly gorilla with the smooshed nose is running around livid about his banana! Marilynn, what were you thinking? Taking a banana away from a gorilla? The body guards have gone home, they left running through the yard sputtering something about a big buff dude the likes of which they could not control! The poker table has been up-ended and Kelly says she had a different hand than what she really had! We gotta get things under control! Just give the banana back, that's a start and then we can get on with our next hand of poker! Snort!
You are such a stinker! You reallly did paint with a banana and because of you I gotta put a rule in to place on Tuesdays! New Rule! The teapotters cards cannot be better than the Hostess' cards! That'll fix your wagon making a wonderful card like this! Holy cow, you are most definately one of those artists than can paint with a banana!
You rock girl! Thanks for the link and thanks for recognizing my exotic fruit....just give it back to the gorilla please!!!

Oh my, once again I am impressed with your talent. This is a beautiful card and I bet it even has a hint of banana smell. It looks like we will have fruit salad at tea today.

Whoops! You don't mind if I hold on to you do you? Some one left a banana peal on the floor and I almost fell on my butt! It wasn't yours was it?! Ha Ha. I just love this fruit seen you CREATED. Fantastic. I love the highlites on the pear. I think I'll stay away from Kelly's poker table. I'm not very good.
