This card is made for Clear Dollar Stamps Guest Designer Challenge:http://clearlyistamp.typepad.com/my_...enge-call.html. I stamped the green DP with the sentiment repeating til filled. I used 1/2" width of black paper for band across card and stamped partials of image in white. I went over the colored image with dimensional glaze. The challenge is to use purple on the card, I went with a mild amount in the shading of my stamped image, in my sponging around the image and in my brads with the bead spacers. I love these bead spacers. Fellow SCSr (scrapnextras) used something similar with a brads on her card one time and so when I saw these I knew just what to do with them and they were at the dollar store - gotta love that. I thought the picture stays finished it off. The stamps I used are from Clear Dollar Stamps @ CDstamps.com TFL Kudos to all talented participants of this challenge.

Lisa this is awesome. You incorporated the purple so well. I have not seen this image. It is a great one. When I was a little girl we actually had a phone like this in our house. It was hooked up to a phone in the barn where my dad would milk cows. We would call him to dinner. It was just for fun but it brings back great memories. I love what you did with the spacers. I need to try that. Really great layout. Good luck. You know I know you have got that talent going on....LOL now I feel like I am talking like my teenagers.. Super job.

Lisa that's really cute! Those brads? buttons? you used on the bottom remind me of a pair of earrings I had when I was little, except the centers were blue. The punch you used on the bottom of the phone panel is very cool.

WOW, Lisa!! This is just so cool!!! There are so many neat elements to this card... I love the top corners, and how you layered the image panel with the matching corner. Oh, that is hard to describe, but I think you get it!
The black border strip with the phone images stamped in white is really fun. This is really a unique card, and it's going into my favs!! And what a fun stamp!! That phone has quite a personality!! Great job on this one!!!!

VERY unique and creative! Just a hint of purple, and I like how you pulled the purple together! The repeated sentiment background is awesome and the strip of black offers a nice way to balance the whole design. Love the selective decorative corners too!
