Thanks so much, Sherry for selecting the beautiful Venetian for our challenge..I love the rich colors and elegance of the style. Come have a look at my interpretation!
I'm not a gambler. I would much rather save my money for shopping or going to a show when I visit the 'strip'. That made it easy to create a scene inside one of the theaters within the Casino. I used 'I Brake for Stamps' wonderful stage, stamping it on SU's purely pomegranate with Adirondack's Cranberry ink and then coloring it again with various Copics. I was going for the lush velvet look. The lining drapes were cut from a Basic Grey Boxer paper group, a pretty blue brocade. My theater is an image from B Line Designs. It is stamped on the darker grey from SU in ColorBox and embossed with clear. I stamped it again on GP white with Memento Tuxdeo black and colored the scene with Copics. The beautiful dome light is Stickled. I finished it off with a scallop over drape and mounted it on a lovely butternut color paper from Basic Grey Bittersweet. The cardbase is BG granola dark blue and a nod to all the gold, gold ric-rac. The Making Memories magnetic adventure word ESCAPE beckons all!
Thanks for looking and taking the time to comment!
