This card was made for Ways To Use It Challenge WT211 Hot Metal, where we were to use our iron. Suggestions included Melted Crayon and Wax Paper Resist. I had tried Melted Crayon during the last VSN, and LOVED that and was anxious to try it again. I never tried the wax paper resist, so I decided to do both with this card! This weeks sketch was perfect, since it featured all those layers!
The celery background used the CB folder that looks like the golf ball indents... don't know the name. The crayon background uses Crayola Peal Brite crayons, which have a date on the box of 1998. Not sure if they still make them, but they work AWESOME for the melted crayon technique!!
The faux pearl was a RAK from MariLynn, and was a great match with the pearly crayon background.
TFL!!
