I went with the melted crayon technique for this one. It's easy and I enjoy the results.
I'm so disapointed with the scan. This pic does NOT look like the real thing. Here the colors are dull but not irl. There is pink in it which is why I chose to use... get this... Positively Pink CS. Can you believe I still have some of that?? I don't think you can tell but I used the linen bg on the cs. I used dd on the butterfly and it really sparkles.
Thanks for taking a look!

So far I can only see the thumbnail photo (image pending approval) but that was so pretty I clicked on it. I'll be putting it into My Favorites and I hope I remember to come back to see the big picture.
From what I can see, the colors are lovely and soft and I love the layout.
ETA: As my original comment posted, the big photo came up. It's gorgeous and I really love the softness the mulberry layers add. Great job!

Why oh why do things look so dull , but IRL so bright????? I wish someone could figure it out for us!!! This looks fabulous, Wendy, and the DD on the butterfly really show up! Good for you doing this technique. When I do it, I get really messy, and didn't have time for that this AM. Great job!!!

I think this looks great. The computer always makes things look different. You should not fret. It looks terrific here. I like this technique and have not done it in a long time. The butterfly is a great image for this technique.

This is stunning! I can only imagine how it looks IRL if it's better than this! Gorgeous melted crayon background and beautiful glittery butterfly! Fantastic job on the challenge!
