This card was made for my GrandmaÂ’s Birthday. I had printed out this sketch challenge but did not make a card with it so I thought now was a good time!
I was thinking about also challenging myself to only one colour and my new Pacific Point wanted to be used. I was thinking about the toile china patterns and that is why I initially choose the paisley background image. I use a brayer to load ink onto my background and bold images to even ink distribution. After I stamped the BG I used the Stickles to add some bling. When it was dry I cut it into strips and mounted it onto WW. The HB was inked up and then pressed into the Canvas BG stamp for a ghosting effect to add some texture and to link it to the background image. The flower was coloured with an Aqua Painter.
Thanks for looking!

Wonderful! Love the monochromatic card. It's very bold in blue. Love all the patterns and textures on this card. Love the little extra details on the letters! It's perfect!
