I had a request from a lady who wanted me to make a Wedding Anniversary card with the main focus being a Wedding cake...Most of my stamps are a bit too whimsy for a Wedding Cake but when I saw this beautiful Wedding Cake by Jolees I grabbed it then started looking thru papers at Michaels to compliment it...You probaly cant see in the photo but there is a embossed white (which I cut out a strip for the bottom of the card to resemble a table cloth where the cake sits) its embossed with a pretty vine pattern and then I found some vellum with a pretty pattern and layed it over the sage paper that compliments the sage on the cake....Then added the ribbon...A trick I learned since using vellum lately is to fold over the vellum enough to tape it on the back of the colored paper so you cant see any tape....TFL!
