The requirement for the challenge is to keep the card clean and simple and use punches this week. If you can love an objectÂ…for me itÂ’s Martha Stewart punches and this emboss punch is one of my favorites.
-The butterfly is colored with Prismacolor pencils, baby oil and paper stumps. I then cut it out including the antennae and glued it to the card. If you have a difficult time cutting antennae just stamp that part of the image on the cardstock and line up the cut out bodyÂ…thatÂ’s what I do when I happen to cut it off and loose it!
-If you have a hard time getting the punched border even to both sides - punch it ¼” wider than the card so it can be lined up evenly then trim off the excess. Notice I have a different line up on the top than the bottom for contrast.
-Scor-Pal was used for the double score lines, I really like the little boost scoring gives a clean and simple card.
-For placing the gems I find it works well to use a long straight pin as a tool, poor out the adhesive, touch the pin to the adhesive then to the back of the gem and place on the card, press down on the gem with the finger and pull the pin away. ItÂ’s a very quick procedure.

Marvelous card using my favorites- Black and White. Love that paper and your butterfly adds just the right amount of color.
