I did it! A Michelle Zindorf technique!
I did try this step by step tutorial Michlle Zindorf offers in her blog, Freedom in Creating: Blogs at Splitcoaststampers
I followed as close as I could, but had to use different inks as I did not have all Michelle used.
I used Versacolor Cyan blue for the water, and Ranger Distress inks of Peeled Paint and Walnut Stain for the mountains, and Archival Dye Mustard for the setting sun sky. I used Archival jet black for the wolf and the sponged hill. The sentiment is computer generated as I wanted to say something special for my DH birthday. Not super special, just couldn't find a stamp to say it. I also printed the inside to say Hell you turn 50 this year that gives you the right to howl! It was a lot of fun to try this technique. This is why I love Splitcoast so much! I have been stamping a year, and I could never in a zillion years come up with an idea like this or an effort on my own. With all the tutorials and wonderful positive techniques and wonderful responses to questions here on Splitcoast, I now can turn out something like this! I could not have done this on my own before Splitcoast! Now though, when I even just try something like this, even my cards look pretty special. I owe it all to the wonderful enablers here at Splitcoast! A special Thank-you to Michelle's ability to teach so well!
