As I mentioned before, my son and I went to stamp camp tonight. He made 3 cards, where as I made 1. But I did a challenge technique that was a few weeks ago. I'll upload that one later. After posting his card, I decided to do a quick one.
For the Inspiration Challenge we were to be inspired by the Esty Shop called Little Daisy Designs. Wow! What pretty things they have. Here is my inspiration: http://ny-image1.etsy.com/il_fullxfull.25216433.jpg.
I started out with 2 baby wipes. One for the red and one for the blue. I daubed the wipe into each color ink separately and wiped the ink onto the glossy c/s at an angle. Repeated for the each color. Went back over the colors of the wipe with my spritz bottle filled with alcohol and onto the c/s to get the look I wanted. (You can keep going over the colors, just spray it the wipes with alcohol before dipping into the inks) Once I made sure it was dry which was only about 2 seconds. I stamped all the stars with versamark ink. I used white emboss powder and the heat tool to set. I added a ribbon and adhered to white c/s. Mounted onto blue. This was fun to make but a little messy. You should see my fingertips. (Next time I will wear gloves). I hope you like it. TFL! Have a wonderful weekend!
What do you think?
