Time for another sympathy card. My sister-in-law's father died suddenly in the Phillippines, so she and my brother left to go there about 3 weeks ago. They're due back next week. Thought I would have this in the mailbox waiting for when she returned. I love the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set!
I was playing around with the Versamark on the image and noticed it was softer looking when I ran chalks over it. I thought that would be nicer for a sympathy card.
If you have a chance to comment, let me know what you think! Thanks!

I really like the chalk look - it gives a whole other feel to it and I really like those silver buttons you've used!!! I'm sure your SIL will really appreciate this waiting for her when they get home.
What a lovely sympathy card!! The image and sentiment are so beautiful and I like how you colored the flowers - very soft. The buttons with ribbon are a lovely addition.

BEAUTIFUL card, Pam, in every way!!!!! LOVE those buttons they are just amazing. I guess a trip to Joann's has to be planned here;). This is a very special and gorgeous card, Pam. Yes, it is never good to have to make a Sympathy card, but this will proably be on your SIL's table for a long time. Love the detail on your corners as well. Way to go PAM!!! Hugs, Sabrina

Wonderful sympathy card - certain to be appreciated. I too love the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set (except for the double-mounted part...). It can be very versatile... Love, love, love the way you did the buttons. So sorry to hear of your brother and SIL's loss.

Incredible design! I agree - the softer looking chalked image works beautifully for a sympathy card. The ornate buttons add to the overall class of this whole card. Well done! Sorry for your SIL's loss.
