I finally got brave enough to try this Thomas Kinkade stamp and egads, this is hard! It is called 'A Perfect Yellow Rose' from Cornish Heritage farms a www.CornishHeritageFarms.com . I changed my brand of watercolor paper to Canson in the hopes that it would look smoother but I still have a lot of practicing to do.

Gorgeous, I love the Thomas Kinkade stamps. I would like to share a tip with you. For smoother watercolor paper I use Canson's 120 lb, (blue and white cover) from Michael's. I use the smooth side the rough side looks like ripples. I love the back side of it for watercoloring. Hope you try it.

Hey girl! That Zuden sure knows art when s/he sees doesnt s/he? S/he is right: your DH is a lucky guy! Is this Zuden anyway? Didnt I one time leave a comment on her gallery about some shelves he made? oooops, I said He ... oh no. The secrets out. BTW, I am drawn to your work of art. It's simply fabulous, Christine. I cant believe your coloring. Only in my dreams would I ever attempt to color an image like this. Like Zuden said, your DH is one lucky guy, and we her ein the gallery are pretty darn lucky too. It's not often we get to see a real work of art. Outstanding!
