I'm late! I'm late!!! I am so sorry I am late. Here is what happened on the way to the tea party. I had the most beautiful card you ever did see. It was fabulous!!! Along with that card I had the most delectable, mouth watering, red, ripe, luscious strawberries and of course a large quantity of whipped cream!!
Well on the way to mousey daycare Charlie, my church mouse, decided he was going to have a hissy fit. Why did he have a hissy fit you ask? Because he found out that there were going to be strawberries at the tea party. Who spilled the beans, I don't know. So the mousey daycare provider said she just could not handle a little church mouse having a hissy fit. So Charlie had to come with me.
Here is where the story gets interesting. You see not only did Charlie throw a hissy fit. He threw an I'm as hungry as a giant hissy fit and ate most of those strawberries and squirted all of the whipped cream in his mouth to where he looked like he was rabid! By the time I pulled over and stopped to wrangle the berries away from hm all that was left were these four.
You can see how pleased Charlie is with himself and his I'm as hungry as a giant hissy fit. I will offer no guarentees on how his behavior will be while we are at the tea party. But he has promised to be on his best behavior and to only nibble small bits from the shortcake!
Could you please hide the other strawberries. Who knows what he will do if he sees them!!!
Oh and that fabulous card I had before, well Charlie dribbled strawberry juice on it in his eating frenzy, and yes, even some whipped cream. That stuff really gets all over everything!

How did I know this was your card before I ever saw the name of the creator? LOL! It's so adorable! Yes, I actually did see the mouse & thought, "Charlie churchmouse, this is a Lois card!" Cute as always!

This is just darling and I love how you made the strawberries. A fabulous job. I hope Charlie had a great time at the tea party, especially after he spent so much energy on that hissy fit.

Okay guys, listen up! The Minister's Wife just called! She is not having a very good day and due to circumstances totally out of her control, she had to bring a new card (Plan B) and Charlie (Hissy fit throwing Bad Charlie!) Its a long story, I'll explain later! But right now, just in case, hide your strawberries and whipped cream quick! Lets' just hope he's so stuffed that on the way here he falls asleep and Lois can leave him in the car! Snort!
Well, Plan B is pretty darn cute and I don't think anyone would disagree! What a cute card Lois. You put wonderful color to Charlie, maybe he is still flushed from his hissy fit, but he is looking good! Adorable and fun card! So happy to have you again.
Thanks for the link, the fun story and card! And as for Charlie? We will just have to wing it! (Honestly, he will probably fit right in with this rowdy bunch!)

Cute, cute card. The green brads are a nice embellishment. I think, after all those strawberries, Charlie is so full he will just curl up and take a nap. Problem solved.

Well, I hope Charlie behaves because my little Hedgie guy is going around with his strawberry basket and offering to everyone...let's see what happens when they meet. That should be quite a scene huh!
Beautiful card, love the story and Charlie is adorable, though he can get quite nasty it seems...Great take on the strawberry tea...I mean cookie jar. LOL TFS

I love your punched strawberries and strawberry flower. I've used a daisy on mine before, must remember the sunburst idea - that's cool. Charlie looks fit to burst, I don't think he should even nibble the edges of the shortcake, and keep him away from my tartlets and cake.
My dad is struggling with a self-inflicted plague of mice, because when he thought he had just one visiting the kitchen at night, he thought he would feed it and left out bits of cake...

Eeks your mouse is having quite the day. He will be most welcomed at this party. Even if he did eat most of the strawberries. Love this card. So glad you played. Hissy fit and all. LOL. We used to say that all the time when we were kids. I haven't heard it in forever. TFS
