This one-of-a-kind ATC was made for a “Pick a Theme” Swap. The inspiration for this themed card was the song “All American Girl” by Carrie Underwood.
How ToÂ’s:
Make card base from two pieces of heavy weight navy card stock (2.5 inches by 3.5 inches) then layer each side with a panel of red and white striped patterned paper cut 1/8 inch shorter and narrower (2-3/8 inches by 3-3/8 inches) . Stamp the grass and front and back sentiments on the card and emboss. Stamp the girl on white card stock with Ancient Page, color with markers and watercolor pencils and cut out. Stamp the flag twice with Versamark and emboss one image with navy EP and one with cranberry EP, cut and piece to form a flag..
Brads: Because itÂ’s so difficult to conceal the wings of a brad between the layers, I snip off the metal wings and glue the front of the brad to the card with dimensional glaze
Card Back: Stamped as shown; matted journal box made for ATC identifying information.
