I love the Under the Stars set but almost never think to use it, so I decided to see what I could do with today's sketch and the set. I paper pieced the bear in chocolate chip and sahara sand and then popped up the can and spray. The mozzie bodies were inked with a blender pen and the wings have had just a touch of glitter added to them. The stars were done with white craft ink and then given a bit of their own twinkle with a white gel pen.
I created my own sentiment inside, saying "what's bugging you these days?"
I wanted to add a touch of hardware so I added the brads in the lower *naked* corner and now wish I'd stopped at 2 because the 3 look cramped to me. Oh well.
Thanks for looking!

Love this paper pieced bear with the can of "skeeter" spray. Also, the mosquito dp is just perfect. Cute, cute card.

yep and it's just about time to get that bug spray out too now that it is warming up the skeeters will be swarming around down here in So GA. Live in the snow regions - no gnats/skeeters. Live in So GA with gnats and skeeters but no SNOW. YEH I will stay here. LOL
Oh my word, what a GREAT image! The skeeters flying in and the bear spraying the bug dope is a riot! Love the stars in the night sky. I live in Michigan and the mosquito is the state bird - well, maybe not, but it should be!
