| | I saw a tutorial for making cool paper flowers on the Cosmo Cricket blog and thought it would be fun to have a go!
I've used a Scrapblock to make my own patterned paper for the flower, stamping both sides of a premium weight copy paper and sponging lighter ink over the stamping.
Fill the jar with candy or cookies or maybe buttons or ribbons if your mum is crafty, too!
Stamps (Cornish Heritage Farms:
Mother's Day Centers (Mona Lisa Moments line - releasing Thursday 12th March)
Paisley Pattern Scrapblock
Ink:
Adirondack dye ink by Ranger (Currant and Raisin - flower)
Tim Holtz Distress ink by Ranger (Peeled Paint and Shabby Shutters - leaves)
Versafine by Tsukineko (Olympia Green - sentiment)
Paper:
Premium weight copy paper (for the flower)
Unbranded ivory board (for the circle)
Other:
Preserving jar (4" diameter)
Nestabilities classic circle by Spellbinder
Pearl (Kaiser)
The flower tutorial is here if anyone wants a go too! |
