SC219 - Country Quilt
Photo Details
 | | When I saw today sketch challenge, all I thought was "That would make a perfect country quilt!" That thought might have been somewhat influenced by the frigid temperatures today as well. So, that's what inspired me here.
I had a little mis-match oops on the lower left hand corner, and contemplated scrapping the whole thing because of it. Then, I decided that novice quilt makers must make mistakes just like novice card makers. So, I left it as is. At least I can say it's an original!
I was happy to be able to use some retired DSP (Afternoon Tea). I also tried my hand at faux stitching for the first time. What do you think? Would you curl up under this quilt? |
