This card is for Color Challenge #209 - Always Artichoke, Rose Red and Black. It's also for for the sketch challenge for 2 red bananas, found here: http://2redbananas.blogspot.com/2009...it-sketch.html (I couldn't work those extra flowers in, though - I went with a sentiment instead.)
The rose image is by Paper Inspirations. I used SU! markers - Always Artichoke and Real Red. I misted the stamp before I stamped it. I cut it and the mat out with Oval Nestabilities. I sponged the edges with black, and also sponged a little bit on the image. The background paper is also by SU! I used the Word Window punch for the sentiment and its matting.

This is beautiful Lynette! I love the black sponging on the edges and on the front of the image piece. It ties in so well with the misted flower. Great job and thanks for joining our 2RedBananas challenge too
