 | | I'm late with my Bellariffic Friday/Bella sketch challenge card this week, but here it is. I love Bashful Blue, I use it a lot :) I thought it worked well with this Glideabella image too which I would not have if it weren't for a Bella birthday card I got in the mail! I forget which Sistah sent me this image, I'll have to go look and see who it was.
Anyway, like I said, this card was inspired by the Bellariffic Friday picture that Emily posted on her blog at the Stamping Bella website. I was originally going to do Bashful Blue and Mellow Moss, but when I tried coloring in her scarf with my Mellow Moss-ish Prismacolor it looked terrible! Something about it being next to the yellow stripes was just Not Good so I switched it out for Certainly Celery which certainly goes with just about everything :) I like how the shading came out on Bella's outfit, all I used was Prismacolors. Wish I knew what kind of white cardstock this is, it's heavier than SU's and a touch grainier but I like it a lot better for coloring on. I'll have to solve that little mystery...hey, we need a Nancy Drew Bella!! Wouldn't that be fun?
This card is going out to one of the Sistahs just because. Betcha can't guess who...she ice skates...she has red hair... :) |
