I saw the sketch (SC218) this a.m. and all the wonderful examples in the gallery and just knew I had to work on it right away. The card I had begun yesterday and had planned to finish today was put away so I could play with this challenge. LOL! Thanks for the challenge Roxi!! I had so much fun! Looking through my stamps, I had a hard time finding something tall and narrow so I decided to use my retired Watercolor Garden 2 that was collecting dust in my cupboard. I know the sketch had nice clean lines but I wanted to combine elegant and shabby so I distressed them a little. I wanted to add a lot of texture on this card and I think the craft hemp, lace, crimping, dry embossing, and distressing gave it some.
Thanks for looking!! Time to finish yesterday's card!!
