This is the card I made for my Feb. cards in the Christmas Card Challenge.
I used my Mega Curved Rectangle Nestabilities, cut out of shimmery green paper. I embossed it with the Cuttlebug Lace Tree embossing folder, then matted it on another curved rectangle nestie cut out of burgandy paper. I embellished the tree with different sized adhesive backed gems, then punched out a small star for the top of the tree.
I used to holly texturz plate from Sizzix to emboss the background, then through the center of it placed some sheer red ribbon and secured it on the back. Then I placed my Nestie curved rectangles on top. It was quick and easy to make - as soon as I buy more shimmery green paper I will make lots more of this one.
Paper: Shimmer green paper by Hot off the press, green and burgandy cardstock from Michael's.
Ink: none
Accessories: Sizzix Big Kick, Nestabilities (Nesties) Mega Curved Rectangles, Cuttlebug lace tree embossing folder, mini star punch, adhesive backed gems

I love these Cuttlebug embossing folders! I haven't seen this tree yet! I like it with this shimmery paper! I know it looks great here, but IRL, wow! Neat idea!
