Well I was thrilled to find out my friend Lorretal's awesome card was this weeks sketch challenge!!! Congrats Loretta!
I've been itching to try this Frosted fragment tecnique from Tim Holtz ever since I saw it. Alas, no fragments. :0( Then Loretta did it on one of her cards and I knew it was a must do. So I purchased some. I thought it was fitting to do it for her challenge card.
I was going to put a link here to Tim Holtz tutorial but I could not find it. So...
1 Sand the back of the fragment in one direction.
2 Sand again in the other direction.
3 Then sand it in a circular motion.
4 Ink image with Versa Mark and stamp onto sanded side.
5 Pour on the clear ep and heat emboss. Done
I combined this with the WT207 challenge, frugal finds. Mine were the old scented sea shells I had stashed in a drawer.
The punched beach scene is brushed over with stickles.

This is beautiful. The elements are perfectly done.
I can just feel the sand between my toes...
