This card I made for a co-worker who's 10 year old son just received an orange belt in Karate. His only requirement was that it be very masculine.....I tried - after all I'm a girl! I bring it to him tomorrow.
The stamping on the front was a versamark emboss of "You're Great", and inside I used mimi Rub-Ons Congratulations Series on Sponged Paper.
As for the accessories, I found the stickers at the craft store, and modified the jacket so that the belt was orange and not black - like the original. I also put the color palette on the inside of the card with 3 gems on either side so you'd know where he was today - thanks to lots of hard work!
All my paper is torn except the focal piece - just something I'm into this week!

They LOVED it....may me feel really good. Especially since I didn't put a lot of time into it, the card is really made by the karate outfit....many of the experts say that the key is to have one focal point - well that is proven true with the response I got on this card!
